MYCJ Advocacy & Organizing Director

Maine Youth for Climate Justice is seeking a full-time Advocacy & Organizing Director to lead our advocacy and organizing efforts. They will work closely with the Executive Director. They will be someone who has experience organizing youth and working in coalitions, with a background in environmental, climate and/or political science.  An understanding of the dynamics of Maine state politics is preferred, as well as an understanding of the clean energy landscape in Maine, fossil fuel divestment, and/or other climate related issues.

Full Time: 36 hours/week

Rate: $26-28/ hour

Remote in Maine with Frequent Required Travel to the State House in Augusta
