We’ll be joined by Lilah Akin from Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness and Meadow Dibble from the Place Justice Team and Atlantic Black Box to learn about the Place Justice project and the listening sessions that they are hosting with Wabanaki Youth Councils on the importance of place names. An exciting development -- The Wilderness Society have begun building a Coalition for Outdoor Renaming & Education (CORE) and will hold their first meeting on Oct 24 at 6:00 pm where they'll highlight opportunities to provide public comment at the upcoming Department of Interior Advisory Committee on Reconciliation in Place Names meeting (November 14-16).
