Pine Tree Power Speaker Series: Part Three

Join us for the third and final event in this series on Tuesday, October 17th at 6pm! Join us in the Lantern Space in the Roux Center at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME!

On November 7th, Maine voters will be asked, “Do you want to create a new power company governed by an elected board to acquire and operate existing for-profit electricity transmission and distribution facilities in Maine?”

At Maine Youth for Climate Justice, we do! We believe a nonprofit utility company owned by and for Mainers will benefit young people, future generations, and the climate. This October, we're hosting a three part speaker series organized by youth for youth leading up to the election so we can all learn more about consumer-owned utilities and how Maine would benefit from one.

Both youth and adult allies are welcome to attend this speaker series. Please note that we will prioritize youth questions on these calls.
